I just got engaged on December 19th, so exactly two months ago
The entire proposal was absolutley amazing. It was in Central Park, next to a gorgeous fountain, with no one around and white snow falling all around us. However, I would say my favorite part was when Daniel told me that everything he wants to do in life, he wants to do with me by his side
Such a Doll!!
Mine got down on one knee and everything, said how much he loves me and couldnt wait to spend the rest of his life with me. I was pretty surprised, i thought we were just going away for the weekend, not getting engaged.
I am so excited to be surprised! I have no idea when it’s coming or anything about it but my boyfriend says he already has it all planned out and that it’s entirely unique. I love that he is already so inspired.
I just got engaged on Monday to my wonderful boyfriend of 4 years and couldn’t be happier! The best part of the proposal was that it was casual and so ‘us’. We rented beach cruisers and rode around Coronado, just enjoying the gorgeous weather and each other. When we finished our lunch/picnic on the beach, he started telling me all the reasons he loves and then popped the question… I said yes
I got engaged 1/6/10 to the boy next door.
He proposed to me at a Castle where we have always wanted to get married.
It was magical and the most exciting day of my life. We have since discovered that we can’t afford to be married in the Castle of our dreams, but we still share the memory of our engagement in this perfect palace. My favorite part of my engagement was him kneeling down in the courtyard of our fairytale and asking me to marry him, my best friend. Happily Ever After does come true!
The best this about the way he proposed was that we had just finished having a serious conversation about how much we loved each other. Then he said he needed to call the jeweler to see how long they could hold the ring. From the very beginning I told him a cracker jack box ring would work and I reminded him of that. So he got up to get dressed and said he was off to walmart. I stopped him and kissed him and we layed back down on the bed and he had the ring on his pinky!! I saw it but was speechless! I kissed him and layed there with him. He then asked if I would do him a favor so I said what? He said will you marry me?? It was an amazing love filled moment. I said yes and cried and laughed and text and called all my family and friends. It was a night I will not forget!
My boyfriend and I have been together for 2 years and we’ve talked about marriage and that it’s both something we want. He has asked me plenty of times but not in a serious kind of way yet. I would love for him to just be completely romantic and really show me how he feels about me. I don’t care about where, when, or how it’s done. This will be something big because my boyfriend isn’t what you call a “romantic” guy. So, when that day comes (he tells me he wants to take the next step soon), everything will be perfect because I love him and he loves me.
I got engaged just 7 days ago, and my favorite thing about the day was how my fiance had planned everything without me knowing. From the proposal spot to the secret photographers to the beautiful lunch and dinner we had afterward, I will always remember that day as one that was filled with more love and joy than I ever could have wanted. The icing on the cake? I’m now engaged to be married to the most wonderful man I’ve ever known. What could be better?
My favorite thing about my marriage proposal is having absolutely no idea what was going on. LOL! My fiance been planning the engagement for a year. We went on a cruise with his parents for Thanksgiving and at midnight on the top deck overlooking the Caribbean Sea on the way to Mexico he proposed. It was sooooo beautiful, surreal & romantic. He knew that I love antique/vintage like rings so he customed designed one for me. I think about that night everyday. I am feel truely blessed to find my perfect man. Thanks for a great giveaway!
I recently got engaged on November 3, 2009 and my wedding date is June 12, 2010. I always dreamed of how I would be proposed to by my boyfriend of 6 years and when it happened I was totally taken by surprised. I had just made it home from jogging and I looked a hot mess. He called and said he was on his way over and asked if I would cook. I said ok and started making shrimp fried rice and eggrolls. He came in through the garage and started annoying me about little silly things, like my car being dirty, dishes in the sink, eta.(mind you we do not live together so why does it matter.) Anyway, I put down the spoon and turned to him with an attitude that could stop Satan in his tracks and by the time I turned around he was down on one knee with the ring out, he said that he was thinking of ways to propose but thought the best way would be just the way we live our lives together. He said I never complain about him asking me to cook or do any little thing at the last minute and he said it made him realize that I was the person that he wanted to spend the rest of his days with. And of course, I said yes. He sees me for the person how I am and loves me for just that and the ring wasn’t shabby either.
My fiance did an amazing job on my proposal! He asked my dad, used my grandmother’s diamond for the center stone in an amazing setting, did it on Thanksgiving while we were on a road trip down HWY 1 at a beautiful location called Lover’s Point in Monterey, CA….just perfect!
My favorite thing about my marriage proposal that my fiance had thought it through so much.
My favorite part of my proposal was that he asked my parents first! traditional and sweet
My fiancĂ© recently proposed to me on top of the world at the Empire State Building. He then took me on a carriage ride through Central Park followed by champagne, chocolate covered strawberries, roses and my favorite wine in the room upon on arrival. It was the most magical night of my life. What made it special was all the preparation and time he put into the whole thing to make it such a memorable experience for us both. I felt like his princess and looking forward to spending the rest of my life with him.Â
haha, our wedding day is this July 31st
happy planning !!
Just us, but someone taking pictures (so technically not “just us” but you know what i mean:)
My Proposal was awesome!!! My fiance and I were visiting my sister and brother in law in Maryland.. We went sight seeing and while we were at the ocean in Cape May he wrote in the sand “will you marry me Rachel?” It was the sweetest thing ever. He isnt a hopeless romantic really so this definatel made up for it!!! We are currently Planning our wedding for July 30th this year!!
My fiance made his proposal special becuase he choose to take me back to where we had our first date, the first place he knew he loved me and wanted to marry me. It was our spot and he included it making the night PERFECT
My favorite part of the proposal was that it was truly something out of a fairytale! My fiance proposed to me on a horse & carriage ride in Niagara Falls, Canada at night directly in front of the falls, when they are lit up various colors. He thought of it all on his own! My fiance is very “manly” so for him to be so romantic about it, definitley earned him points
lol. How much more fairytale could you get?!
